On November 4 & 5, 2016, America's Top Dog Model ® families participated in "Meet the Paw-liticians," an unforgettable two day event to benefit Share-A-Pet of Fort Lauderdale.
Pearl, America's Top Dog Model 2016 "Meet the Paw-litician" national winner was honored during a Welcome Reception at The Chesterfield Palm Beach on Friday, November 4, and a Paw-litical Party, Saturday, November 5, on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida.
America's Top Dog Models ® winner, finalists, and their families flew to Palm Beach from various parts of United States to participate in this star studded event! On Friday, guests enjoyed a fabulous welcome reception hosted by The Chesterfield Palm Beach. America's Top Dog Model ® families arrived via Rolls Royce and were introduced on the "red carpet."
On Saturday, November 5, guests enjoyed a paw-litical themed event featuring America's Top Dog Model ® 2017 Calendar launch, people and pet fashion show, raffles, music and in-paw-guration of Pearl, America's Top Dog Model ® 2016 winner.
Honored guests included Sachin Mayi, founder of Share-A-Pet, his wife Dr. Bindu Mayi, and Sachin's brother, Michael Mayi. Sachin Mayi shared his inspiring story about the history of Share-A-Pet, a 501c3 non-profit organization, which trains, certifies, and insures for pet-assisted therapy in hospitals, nursing homes, and schools.
Peaches, America's Top Dog Model 2015 contest winner and Share-A-Pet volunteer, was honored as our 2017 calendar cover dog. Human models wore fabulous fashions from St. John, Marley's Palm Beach Collection, Jackie Rogers, Charlotte Kellogg, and Olivia Preckel, while canine models strutted elegant collars from Bibi's Boutique.
Woof Gang Bakery Palm Beach served up a delectable doggie buffet and Island Company introduced their new rum beverage. Generous sponsors also included Insight Advertising, Sherry Frankel's Melangerie, Eliza Tizabgar, Mitch Herring Photography, Katie's Carraige and Vasi Siedman. Proceeds from raffle donations benefited Share-A-Pet.
America's Top Dog Model's amazing event planning team – Jo Jo Harder, Marley Herring, Sherry Frankel, Eliza Tizabgar, and The Chesterfield food and beverage director, Greg Palmer helped to create what was surely one of the season's most talked about Paw-litical event!
