April 11, is National Pet Day! Even though we show appreciation daily for our furry BFF, here's a list of 10 activities to celebrate this special holiday throughout the weekend.
1. Adopt
If you are thinking about enlarging your family, adopting a pet from your local shelter or rescue organization will save the life of an animal in need.
2. Volunteer
There are many volunteer opportunities if your dog is friendly and well behaved. A growing number of libraries and schools invite canine volunteers to help children improve their reading skills. Service and therapy dogs can visit people at nursing homes and hospitals
3. Learn New Tricks

4. Celebrate
