To our friends, fans, and America’s Top Dog Model family, it is with a broken heart that we announce that our dear Romeo is no longer with us. Sweet Romeo was the kindest, most beloved soul that anyone could ever wish for. He loved unconditionally and showed us the true meaning of loyalty and purpose. Romeo was a constant reminder of the beauty of life’s simple pleasures from the way he would bounce with excitement at the appearance of a leash, to his playful demeanor to his comforting presence that had a way of making even the darkest days feel lighter. Romeo lived a full life as a beloved member of our family and as a top dog model. He was the face of America’s Top Dog Model ® with thousands of friends and fans around the world. He was featured in books, magazines, newspapers, calendars, T.V, film, and an award-winning documentary. He was co-editor, cover-dog, and columnist for our Paw Prints Magazine. He also served as a therapy dog for Alzheimer patients and walked the runway for charity. Romeo was loved by everyone who knew him. He would have been 18 years old on August 6, 2025. Loved and cherished by Jo Jo and William Harder, he was an adored family member - we will always remember the affection and happiness that you brought into our lives. Your memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. We miss you, Romeo. R.I.P.
We are grateful to everyone who has sent their condolences. Thank you for your kindness, loyalty, and support.
In America's Top Dog Model Paw Prints Magazine fall issue coming out August 1, we pay tribute to Romeo. See Paw Prints Magazine page to learn more about this special edition.
