This pawsome annual event was created by Pet Sitters International (PSI) to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions. This year marks the 18th annual event.
To help you make that day extra special, here are five essential tips:
- Bring water/food bowls and healthy treats for your dog.
- Make your dog feel at home by bringing a bed, a fluffy blanket, and a favorite toy.
- Give your dog a bath, and teeth brushing so that she/he smells nice upon meeting your co-workers.
- Dog proof your workspace. Remove cords, trash containers, or objects that can be swallowed.
- Have fun! Make your dog the star by taking lots of photos. Submit your best photos to America's Top Dog Model (R) Facebook page for a chance to get featured.
